CHOCCYWOCCYDOODAH!!
Choccywoccydoo - What?! No, no, its not about skulls or puppies. It’s a coffee/cake shop. A very stylish one indeed.

David and I were originally looking for Hurwendeki. One of my favourite friends recommended me to this place. I take every word she says for gold, so I really wanted to find Hurwendeki. But instead Google Maps lead us to Choccywoccydoodah.

A big black building and red walls. It looks very “suspicious”, but the smell of chocolate simply lured us in.
I loved their interior design. Especially what they did with the lamps!

Their main attractions were those beautiful looking cakes. I wasn’t even sure if they were edible. But yep! It’s sugar ;)
The menu is… quite large. I guess they didn’t have any menues left, but this one goes up till my hips. And I’m tall: 174 cm.
I had coconut cake. It didn’t blow my mind. But at least it came with ice-cream and raspberry sirup.

I should have tried one of their chocolate instead. Thats what got us in the first place.
Side note: I really want those lamps!!

So this was Choccywoccydoodah!
It’s just in the hidden streets near Liberty, Carnarby or Oxford Street. Sometimes you just have to get lost to find awesome places! It’s definitely a quiet and cool coffee shop to hang out with friends or your boy/girlfriend after long shopping hours.
The cakes from the French Bakery are still my favourites, but the French Backery is quite posh and expensive. Whereas Choccywoccydoodah is the place to spend hours without going broke. It actually also inspired me a bit for my next project. For example, I have to build in those lamps. Somehow! Like everywhere and in every corner!! I assume you saw my simple blogpost last night, the photo “Soulmates”.
“Soulmates” is the title of a short fashion film and I can’t wait to publish more details. We’ve got such a great team and we are going to need heaps of your help, so please stay tuned on niciseoul.com! ^_^

Oh, hi there!
First, to get in the right mood, lets have some cupcakes.

In Paris, we took the metro to get to many places,

like the Louvre,
or the Sacre coeur,
petit Parisian dinner parties
with good old friends from Korea (who are way to busy with their iPhones)! ^_^
And I sure did record everything.
I’m sorry that the final Paris video isn’t up yet. Please accept my apology, 사과!

Please be patient!
Soon, soon the video will be out!

Much love!
Nicole

This is Paris!
“This is Paris!”.
I just finished editing the trailer of the travel documentary clip, I want to upload by the end of this month.
It’s going to be a 20-30 minute clip with masterpieces to see, unique cafés offering awesome cupcakes to eat, and other lovely things you have to do when you’re in Paris. I hope that after watching the final video you will feel like going to Paris too.
I recorded everything.
By day 4, I didn’t even have any memory space left. I was using a 16 GB HD Video memory chip!
Luckily my boyfriend gave me his memory chip and let me film, even though that meant he couldn’t take any more photos.. What a sacrifice!
Oh well, Paris was absolutely awesome! And we want to share our experience with you all!
It’s my first official attempt to create a proper travel video!
Thank-you Veronika, Aya and Xavier! Without you guys our holidays in Paris wouldn’t have turned out to be so awesome, awesome, awesome!
Follow me, share this video with everyone you know, who loves Paris, is interested in Paris or wants to go to Paris anytime soon ^_^
Tell me what you think about Paris, tell me what you want to see or know about Paris, I’ll try to make sure, that I’ll include all our bits and pieces about Paris into the final video for you.

Enough “awesome”s and exclamation marks for today.

And… happy valentines day everyone!

Why is Paris so breathtaking-beautiful at night?
So, who took the best “Mona Lisa Photo”?

Why is the Eifel Tower leaking?

How many carousels are there in Paris?

How do French police men look like from behind?

We just spent 3 awesome nights in Paris…
This holiday turned out to be one of the best short city-trips ever spent.
As promised, I’m working on the short “PARIS” video with tips of places to go to,
things to try, and cakes to eat!

Do you fancy Korean Indie Music?

I’m guessing you’re not even sure if you have ever heard of it. Mainstream K-Pop is way too dominant to let simple indie bands take over their weekly music charts.

Indie bands like YB Band, Jang Ki-ha and The Faces, Crying Nut, Kingston Rudieska, Galaxy Express or Mongoose are going to perform this Saturday (Sep 17) in Seoul and I’m guessing it’s going to be cool!
You can hear some of the bands stuff on http://www.last.fm
and this is a pretty good (and new) Korean Indie music playlist from August 2nd 2011:
End of Summer.
Do you like that playlist? Then go find out more about Korean indie music! Oh wait, there’s this GAP concert.. Mark the Date! 17th September 2011!
You have to go to Gwangnuru Station (line 5) and use exit 2 when you get there. You use the same exit to get to W Seoul Walkerhill. The concert is going to take place from 3 to 10 p.m, and it will cost 30.000 won or 25.000 won on site.I’m sharing this because I am hoping someone else will go now, take photos and write a blog post about it. I won’t be there, but I wish I could go..
