Fancy a British dessert? This is one of my first attempts to make one… I looked through BBC’s recipes and figured that the trifle with its different layers of good stuff, is supposed to be a typical British dessert. I couldn’t be bothered to read the ingredients list and follow any long how-to-list, so I just looked at the pictures and improvised.
I went to the store next door and bought berries, jelly, jam, sponge roll cake, meringue nests, strawberry syrup and yummy, creamy vanilla ice-cream.. First, I had to prepared the bottom layer with jelly, jam and berries.
We had dinner, and about an hour later, I just had to add the next few layers: slices of the roll cake, ice-cream and the topping with 3 meringue nests.
Don’t forget the strawberry syrup on top!
It’s a quick dessert, looks good and I’ve been told it tastes good too!
Fazit: Keep it simple and stupid. Always works.

SUPERLENSE.
One of those days, where you turn into a little kid, because you get to explore a whole new world. Kind of.. I thought I need a 2000 dollar camera or a film camera to produce decent photographs. At the moment I’m not really keen on using my film camera due to the expensive development prices..
But my oh so smart boyfriend revealed with the right lense, for example Sigma 30 mm 1:1.4, I can still get those awesome shots! ^.^ My heart jumped a little, and as soon as he left the house for work, I started to shoot random things, like flowers, fruits, the view out of my window, and ended up shooting a whole series of self-portraits. Now, the next thing I want to learn is how to use a fine remote control, because arm-length photography gets annoying after a while..

Those photos were taken a week ago, but I had to wait until they got developed. Some of you might recognize a better version of that kiss photo ^.^ It was taken in Heidelberg’s Schlossgarten, one of Germany’s most romantic spots.
At the moment a few things is going on my side. For example, I’ve been working on a Seoul travel photography book project. It has to be done in less than 48 hours!! I just took a break from designing the book cover, the content is all done. Looking at all those photos reminds me of such good times in South Korea. I might post a preview later tonight or tomorrow as soon as I’m done. I hope you look forward to it! ^.^
Now, it’s time to make dinner. I feel like having something light with tomatoes and mozzarella…
Guten Appetit!
