2011 F/W FENDI HANRIVER FASHION SHOW.

I forgot all about the FENDI Fashion Show until it was too late, but then I realized that the show was going to be online anyways - LIVE! So, I couldn’t be bothered to be upset at all. .
I saw fur en masse, red stockings & long, glossy hair from my screen at home. Oh this internet-focused generation makes life so much easier!

I do have to admit one thing though: If I knew that one of my favourite actress was going to be sitting in the crowd: ZIYI ZHANG from Memoirs of a Geisha! I would have done everything to still get in. It’s annoying how they kept filming her (after the show), because it felt like they were telling me: “There you go, Nicole. You should have went to the show!

Copy Men Behaviour

Yummy, yummy, we've got colourful pills in our tummy..

Larissa from Germany came to Seoul! ^_^
The first few days were awesome, we went to Namsan Tower, COEX, noraebangs, malls, coffee shops, restaurants, clubs and bars in Hongdae, Sinchon, Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, Gangnam, Itaewon, Insadong and all the other spots you should go to when you’re in Seoul.
But since 4 days we are stuck at home. We are doing nothing but watching confusing/amusing/crazy Korean shows, surfing the Internet (playing tetris, posting random Facebook status updates, or skyping with our beloved ones).
We eat embarrassingly punctual for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so that 30 minutes later we can take our medication exactly as it has been ordered.
But we still don’t seem to get any better!
Now we’re starting to run out of ideas. I quit reading women lifestyle magazines a long time ago, because you can find everything in one of those blogs online. But then I spotted this amusing article in Larissa’s magazine. It’s about copying men’s behaviour to simplify a woman’s life.
It’s supposed to list the things that men do better than women. I know a few men though who proves this list wrong, but who doesn’t love stereotypes? ;)

1. Think of yourself.

It’s not being egoistic, to just think of yourself is actually being totally smart.

2 Be worried when you really should be worried.

Don’t start panicking when it isn’t even worth it.

3. Really mean what you are saying.
Don’t say “Maybe, maybe, maybe” instead ” Yes! I’m totally pissed.”

4. Love your body.

If women gain weight after Christmas it’s a total disaster, but men just think of it as a small side effect.

5. Be sick.
As soon as he gets sick, he would stay in bed, close his eyes and after two days the whole world is beautiful and awesome.
Women try to stay strong, whereas men know how to relax and get well sooner.

We obediently followed their advice, but not just for two days. It’s been four days now, we’re laying on the floor with our pink fluffy blanket and pillows, and the floor heater is on full power.

SO NOW WHY ON EARTH AREN’T WE ANY BETTER YET? :(

Sick in Seoul
