[KOREAN BURGER & PLASTIC CREPES]
We went to Burger King to have some healthy dinner for a change.
I know.. if you’re in a foreign country you should really try to be local.. But please check my videos, you will see that we do eat a lot of Korean food and in my defense, I had bulgogi burger.
Bulgogi is a Korean dish with sweet marinated barbecued beef. It is very tasty and the reason why I stopped being a vegetarian. It happened in Karlsruhe/Germany in 2005 on a cold November Korean night. We were dancing, drinking, eating and singing. The Ajumas (old Korean ladies) forced my first love to go on stage and he began singing “Your Body is a Wonderland”. Even though it was supposed to be a romantic moment, I couldn’t stop thinking of the dish that was staring at me all night. I stopped being a vegetarian. I just couldn’t resist. My point is: Bulgogi is SO good.

Anyways, after that non-fat meal we decided to do something even better for our “S-Lines”.
Have some dessert.
Not just any dessert though - really, really good dessert at Spero Spera. (I don’t know why I always make this ridiculous attempt to describe food, like here: The Best Brownies in Seoul for Bananamilk Magazine. Oh well..)
Back to Spero Spera in Hongdae (Wausan-ro 21-gil).
They offer every kind of those treats. You don’t just get sweet crêpes, you also get salty ones with bacon, cheese and so on. Everything is displayed in a mouthwatering, plastic version behind glass walls, which makes it a easy game for foreigners. Just point, smile and say “JUM JUSEYO” (eng: please give it to me).
Another plus point are their prices. It’s quite cheap and I guess it’s therefore a place where you’ll meet many Hongik University students - it is just a 3-5 minutes walk from there.
Unfortunately, thanks to the bulgogi burger, I was full… I had good iced caramel cappucino (for 3300 won only) and promised myself to go back soon. The plastic cheesecake crêpes left that big impression on me. I never had crêpes with cake and ice-cream. Yum! Wait for me.

P.S: Thank you Alex for taking us there!

I’m not really sure when this video was taken. However, I’m very amused by the footage, I mean you can tell it was a lot of fun to hang out with them that night.
To my shame, I have to admit that I do not even remember half of it. I couldn’t make it out of bed before noon either.
