THE UPSHOT: LONDON FASHION NIGHT OUT (Part 2).
In my previous post, I described our London Fashion Night Out experience in detail, and now I’m back with the upshot and some photographs. I’ve seriously never seen so many over-dressed girls in one night.
We couldn’t be bothered to plan anything specific. In addition, how much are you supposed to see in 3 or 4 hours? So, we just started with Top Shop and walked towards Piccadilly Circus.
LNFO Stores, clearly advertised on their windows with the according stickers.
I figured Fashion Night Out isn’t only about late night shopping (fashionistas in Seoul would chuckle at this offer. They can even go shopping at 4 am in the morning. Monday to Sunday!), but LFNO means meeting creative people, having fun with friends and lovers in stores, without really focusing on the clothes. At the end of the night, you might feel a lot more closer to the brand.
Or did that marketing plan only work on me?
Nicole Before: no opinion about Tommy Hilfiger.
Nicole Now: “Cool brand! I should go to one of their stores again. I especially like the beige trench-coat, and the smart navy cardigan (in this autumn’s collection).
Tip: Stay away from mainstream “favourite” fashion stores and go to expensive stores. Even though you can’t spend much. Who cares? In my opinion, this night isn’t really about shopping. You will avoid queues and enjoy exclusive service.
